UNIQ, a musical project-ensemble made up of three Dominican/Colombian/American born singers, and led by Miguel Vasquez, son of Grammy Award Winner, Milly Quezada, were born in New Jersey. 

The Vasquez brothers and Colombian- Puerto Rican/American friend, Alex Salabarria, created UNIQ with a blend of urban, hip-hop, R&B and tropical rhythms that reflect the new generation of Latin-American music.

Their production experience includes participation in MILLY Quezada’s Latin Grammy ’01 Award winner cd “Pienso Asi”, as well as her current ’06 Grammy Nominated cd “MQ”.  UNIQ’s live performances have taken them to international venues, including Colombia, San Juan Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

They have also performed in USA venues such as “Jaime Foxx’s Laffapalooza ‘02” in Atlanta Georgia and sang the National Anthem for the New York Mets game in the Summer ’04. 

UNIQ’s motto in their musical quest is “Love and pride for our Latin-American musical heritage” UNIQ is synonymous to youth, originality and quality and their talent and harmony will take them far beyond the limits of their cultural horizons.
