Los Hermanos Rosario a giant institution of Dominican music. The orchestra of Los Hermanos Rosario was formed 1st of May of 1978, in the city of Higuey. From the beginning Los Hermanos Rosario were a hit.
They made their first international tour in the United States on the 23 of April to the 18 of May of 1983. On this tour Los Rosarios went without their musical director Pepe Rosary, who also was a pianist of the grouping and which in fatal circumstances vilely was assassinated. Pepe was very loved by his parents Don Ramon and Doña Aura and by all his brothers. This situation forced Los Hermanos Rosario to paralyze their activities for a long time. After recovering of this irreparable strike, Los Rosario formed their orchestra again and lanced to the market their first L.P. containing songs that were true hits, among them we can mention: "Las locas", quickly occupied the first place in all the Hit Parades followed by the songs "Maria Guayando", "Vengo Acabando", "Bonifacio" among others. A list of successes begins and there is no time to lose. The second L.P. "Acabando" with super songs like; "Adolescente", "Borron y Cuenta Nueva", "Luna Coqueta" did its job. With the launching of "Otra Vez", Los Hermanos Rosario devote themselves like "La Orquesta de Música Popular mas Pegada de La República Dominicana", with songs like: "Rubia de Fuego", "Ingrata" and "Mi Tonto Amor". In 1990 "Fuera de Serie" followed upon dinasty of 12 years of successes after success. This production contains songs like "Bomba", "Cumande", "Loquito por Ti", "Dime", and "Esa Morena". In 1992 they did their new production titled "Insuperable", with concept and production of Rafa Rosario, which surpasses to all previous for its excellent quality and combination of talent with the contagious rhythm of merengue. Some of the successes of this L.P. were "Brindame una Copa", "Desde que la Vi", and "Mil Hora", that was the soundtrack of the movie "Tacones Lejanos", of Pedro Almodovar. After this sweeping success, Los Hermanos Rosario lanced in June of the 93 their production "Los Mundialmente Sabrosos". The first promotional cut of this album "Amor Amor" reached the first place of the tropical billboards of the United States, Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo, Center America, Venezuela and Colombia with this song they managed for the first time to be placed in the prestigious Billboard magazine. |
